For every child, a chance.
The National Center on Family Homelessness launched the Campaign to End Child Homelessness in 2009 to ensure that not one child in America goes to sleep for one night without a home.
The Campaign is reaching out to state and local officials, policymakers, families, communities, advocates, service providers and the media to galvanize public and political will to end child homelessness in America. We believe it unacceptable for any child in the United States to be homeless.

GLOBALLY : THE SMILE TRAIN
Our mission is to provide a child born with a cleft the same opportunities in life as a child born without.
The Smile Train is dedicated to helping the millions of children in the world who suffer from cleft lip and palate through free surgery for children, free training for doctors, and research to find a cure.
THE PROBLEM
Unrepaired Clefts - Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly, aren't allowed to attend school or hold a job.
THE SOLUTION
Free Cleft Surgery - Provide free cleft lip and palate surgery for hundreds of thousands of children around the world. That's what we do.
Train Doctors - We empower local doctors in developing countries by providing free surgical training and education.
Giving a Future - Smile Train can give a child a second chance at life with surgery that costs
as little as $250.
